Main Duties of the role:
- Maintenance and Extension of Hardware and Software
- Management of User Accounts and Profiles
- Support for the Bank’s Team
- Deployment of Applications, Updates and Patches
- Monitoring of Backups and Replication
- Troubleshooting
- Keep Documentation up-to-date
- Filing of Documents
- Other duties which occur in a Bank’s IT environment
- Flexibility
- Willingness to learn, take on projects and grow into new tasks
- A minimum of 1 year experience in the field of IT
- Knowledge of any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Windows Server Operating Systems
- MS Exchange
- Active Directory
- Group Policies
- Remote Desktop Environments
- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB
- VMware VSphere
- HPE/Aruba Networking, VLANs, Routing
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
- Self-driven
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience in IT Technical writing and documentation is a plus
- Experience within the finance sector is considered an asset
